Succulent steaks, a wide variety of fresh seafood, an excellent choice of seafood appetizers (starters), delicious soups, salads and bowl dishes, and a wide choice of sides to accompany your main course make for one of the most comprehensive steaks and seafood menus in Greater Victoria. Are you salivating yet? Well, you should be!

MARVELOUS MAINS
I have been to Nautical Nellies enough times to taste many of their menu items and all have been superb! They have an award-winning wine list and an oyster bar stocked with a large choice of freshly shucked East and West coast oysters. You have a choice of the heated patio overlooking the Inner Harbour or the cozy, well-decorated interior. If you have a group and book ahead you can get a semi-private area for up to 14 people!
Nautical Nellies is a favorite choice of mine for steak and seafood and it has been in business since 1997. It is family and I feel it is one of the very best steaks and seafood restaurants and I feel confident they will provide you memorable dining experience.
That is why they have continually been voted one of the best restaurants in Victoria and they guarantee our food and service!
They even have a $10 lunch on their menu when you buy a drink with your lunch.
DELICIOUS AND DELECTABLE DESSERTS
Now, what blew my mind was a suggestion from the owner. He sold me on trying the Warm Missouri Butter Cake DESSERT that is large enough to choke a Saskwatch! The lovely warm cake has a hint of cream cheese and is topped with ice cream and there is an ample serving of delicious whipped sugar cream! This dessert is to die for!!! I suggest that you find someone to share it with! I am a dessert guy. After my main, I reluctantly but wisely shared my dessert with four others!
This is one of only a couple of restaurants in Victoria that I consider as my “go-to” restaurants when I have visitors or guests in town. Nautical Nellies Restaurant, is currently celebrating its 23rd anniversary and they are no stranger to recognition. I discovered on-line that they have garnered multiple Open Table Diners' Choice awards in categories including Best Food, Best Seafood, and Best Overall. Fillets of wild Pacific halibut or Vancouver Island ling cod flake beneath forks, and shellfish, lobster, and Dungeness crab claws teeter on multi-tiered seafood towers. Diners can sample 10 varieties of oysters and rolls of fusion sushi. Grass-fed Angus steaks, aged for 35 days, are cooked to any specification, from well done to what chefs term “blue”— seared on the outside, with a cool centre and a scrawled-on frowning face.
What are you waiting for!
